Buying Guide
From basic transportation to carbon racing, we carry a bevy of bikes, which include Trek, Bianchi, Marin, and Jamis! Buying a new bike may seem like a daunting task, whether you're a novice or an experienced cyclist. There are so many different brands to chose from! No need to worry about pressure sales at the Missing Link, none of our salespeople work on a commission or have sales quotas, so our aim is simply this: to hook you up with the best bike for your needs.
We also know that bike fit is critical to the enjoyment of riding, so we take extra care to make sure you get the bike that fits you right, and we have a bicycle exchange policy to back it up. It doesn't end there though. Once you've found the right size frame, your contact points (seat, handlebars, and pedals) with the bike, will need their positions set for that perfect fit. For clipless pedals we will set the cleat position on your cycling shoes, so you will have a comfortable, injury-free riding experience. For more information about how we fit a bike, or if you would like to fit yourself look at this guide to bike fitting.
We try our best to keep a good supply of bikes assembled so that you can test-ride one in your size to help you make that final descision. If you already know the bike you want and you're hot to buy one, it's always best to give us a call first to check on its availability. We also do special orders if there's a bike you want that we don't have.
